PDF page organizer
Put one PDF in the order you need. Preview its pages, move them, rotate a page or remove it, then download a separate file.
The organizer keeps the page content and dimensions from the source PDF. It does not merge documents or securely erase confidential information.
One PDF up to 20 MiB and 50 pages. Processing stays in your browser; the file is not uploaded.
How do I organize PDF pages?
- Choose one PDF and wait for the page thumbnails to load.
- Drag pages into a new order, or use Move up and Move down. Each card shows its original page number.
- Rotate or remove pages as needed. Undo reverses one change at a time, up to 100 changes. Keep at least one page.
- Select Create PDF, then open the download to check the page order and orientation.
File support and limits
Use one standard PDF with 1–50 pages. The input limit is 20 MiB and the output limit is 50 MiB. Password-protected files, forms, annotations, bookmarks, attachments and other special structures are not supported. If possible, save a plain document PDF and try again.
Thumbnails are for arranging pages. The output uses the original PDF pages, retaining page text and page dimensions. Rotation is applied from each page’s existing orientation. The source file is not changed, and document-level metadata is not guaranteed to carry over. Removing a page does not securely erase confidential information.
Files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded or saved automatically. Replacing the file, clearing the tool or leaving the page removes the current work, so download the result first. Large or complex documents may take longer; try fewer pages if processing times out.
Common questions
Does organizing a PDF turn its text into images?
The output copies the original pages, so existing selectable text remains text. A scanned page remains an image; page organization does not add OCR.
Can I remove a page to hide private information?
Removing a page omits it from the new file, but this is not a secure redaction tool. Check the finished PDF and use a suitable redaction method when information must be permanently removed.
Can I add pages from another PDF?
This tool rearranges, rotates and removes pages in one PDF. To combine documents, use the PDF merger.
Rearrange PDF pages and check the finished document
Back to toolDecide what the finished PDF should contain
A report can have its cover behind the body, an attachment turned sideways, or a page scanned twice. If the page content is otherwise ready, rearranging the PDF can be simpler than rebuilding it. Keep the source file, then identify pages by their headings and content as well as the thumbnails.
This tool works on one ordinary PDF at a time. It can reorder whole pages, rotate them, and remove pages. It does not insert pages from another document, combine PDFs, edit page text, or redact information within a page.
Reorder pages while tracking their original numbers
Choose a PDF and wait for its thumbnails to load. Each card shows the page's current position and its original page number. Drag a card to move it, or use Move up and Move down. The original number stays attached to the page, which helps when you are following a printed checklist or a reviewer’s notes.
Rotate a page when its content is sideways, or remove a page that should not be in this copy. Undo reverses the last change, up to 100 changes. You can restore all pages to the source order and orientation. At least one page must remain before you create the output.
Check a six-page example and its five-page result
The downloadable six-page practice document has labeled pages and no real personal information. Original pages 1 and 2 are body pages A and B; page 3 is the cover; page 4 is a sideways attachment A; page 5 repeats body page B; and page 6 is attachment B. The target order is original pages 3, 1, 2, 4 and 6, with page 5 removed.
Move original page 3 to the front, rotate original page 4 once, and remove original page 5. Page 4 already has a 270° orientation setting, so one 90° turn makes its heading upright. Compare your result with the prepared five-page example: it should show the cover, body A, body B, attachment A and attachment B in that order.
| Original page | Content | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Body A | Page 2 |
| 2 | Body B | Page 3 |
| 3 | Cover | Page 1 |
| 4 | Sideways attachment A | Page 4, rotated upright |
| 5 | Duplicate of body B | Removed |
| 6 | Attachment B | Page 5 |
Open the download and confirm what was preserved
The download is a new PDF. Open it and check the cover, the last page, the rotated attachment and the place where you removed a page. The practice output should contain original pages 3, 1, 2, 4 and 6; the page labels in the PDF make the order easy to inspect. Page thumbnails are scaled previews, so use the downloaded document for the final check. The output copies source pages and keeps their text and page dimensions; document-level metadata is not guaranteed to carry over.
The limits are one input PDF of up to 20 MiB and 1–50 pages, with an output limit of 50 MiB. Password-protected files, forms, annotations, bookmarks, attachments and other special structures are not supported. If the file is complex, save a plain document PDF or split it into smaller files before trying again.
Files are processed in the browser and are not uploaded or saved automatically. Clearing the tool, replacing the file or leaving the page removes the current work. Removing a page leaves it out of this new copy, but it is not secure deletion or redaction of information elsewhere in the document.
Choose a different tool for a different PDF task
Use the six-page source PDF and the prepared five-page PDF listed in Sources to follow the example. If you need to extract a page range into separate files, use the PDF splitter. If you need to join complete documents, use the PDF merger. Those tools have different limits and handling, so check their instructions before adding files.
